Garage Italia drops the first limited production of Fiat Panda 4x4 Icon-e reinterpreted and electrified to celebrate a true icon of Italian design.
The protagonist of the second drop in the series is a car that has made essentiality its strength. We are talking about the Fiat Panda 4x4, the first city car with off-road features born from the pen of Giorgetto Giugiaro. Garage Italia drops the first limited production of 5 Panda 4x4 Icon-e reinterpreted and electrified to celebrate the great little climber who has become a true icon of Italian design. PANDERIS with Vitale Barberis Canonico, PANDORO with fashion designer Marta Ferri, PAND'ART with Arthur Kar of L'Art de L'Automobile, PANDINA JONES with Car&Vintage, the social media platform for vintage enthusiasts, and finally 00PANDA for a secret agent. The donor cars have been overhauled in the mechanical parts, restored and painted ex novo. The colors have been developed together with BASF R-M, while the interior linings of the remaining 4 are in Alcantara. They will be fitted with BFGoodrich summer tires from the Touring range and in the winter version, Kormoran tires: both brands of the Michelin group, partner of Garage Italia in the Icon-e project. For this second creative project, Garage Italia teamed-up with new partners to enrich the features on the car. The result is a car with a vintage character and contemporary practicality that does not lose the charm of its ancestor. To make their custom cars true ear-catchers, Garage Italia entered into a new partnership with HARMAN International. Through this collaboration Garage Italia is able to customize their vehicles with car aftermarket and consumer audio solutions of the iconic JBL brand, to guarantee a unique sound offering and enrich the driving experience. The heat engine was replaced by an electric power unit developed in collaboration with Newtron Group, flanged directly to the original gearbox. The maximum speed that can be reached is 115 km/h for a range of 100 km approx. WLTP cycle. The car is charged through a type 2 socket, installed under the fuel flap. Depending on the mode - domestic socket or electric column - the batteries will be completely recharged between 3 and 8 hours.
