Cars in the movies: Bruce Almighty

"It’s just a means of transportation." With these words, Jim Carrey in the famous movie "Bruce Almighty" jumps onboard his brand new (at the time, that is, in 2003) Saleen S7, arousing envy of some kids who admire him astonished. In the beginning and for a large part of the film, we see him driving a very modest Datsun 240z of 1976. But when this old japanese lady starts to trudge along, thanks to his divine superpowers, he turned it into a very powerful and roaring Saleen S7 in order to get to work on time. Okay, we are neither Jim Carrey nor we show supernatural powers, but we can safely say that we have turned a battered 240z into a "God-like" Datsun with our restomod project.
The car, a mid-engined supercar with extraordinary performance, has a power of 423 kW, a 6-speed transmission of 575.1 horsepower and has been auctioned - complete with the ALMITY 1 license plate- in the summer of 2020. The starting value of the car used by Carrey is uncertain, but we certainly know that the way he impressed the kids in Tom Shadyac's film is more than fair. This supercar is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3 seconds. A real one-of-a-kind racing car, expertly built thanks to the genius of Steve Saleen, an American driver-builder, passionate about racing cars.
An even higher version was created between 2006 and 2010: the S7 Twin Turbo, currently recognized worldwide as one of the most expensive cars: 711,000 euros in value. Jim Carrey, aka God couldn't have picked a sedan.
