600 Multipla Icon-e St Regis

In a particularly busy November, Garage Italia presented its first electric restomod, completely restoring a Fiat 600 Multipla exclusively for the St.Regis Hotel in Rome. The St. Regis is one of the most famous hotels in the capital and has recently undergone a major restoration. A project that has involved numerous prominent personalities such as the designer Giada Curti, the art gallery Galleria Continua, IF Unique Art Experiences, the illustrator Gianluca Biscalchin, the haute couture brand Larusmiani and Garage Italia. We made a fully electric Fiat 600 Multipla, starting from a 1962 donor car, which was completely gutted and overhauled in all its components, a process necessary to make room for the battery pack and ensure an adequate level of finish. The colorway chosen for the bodywork is a classic two-tone that recalls the sixties, black and pastel ivory, a special glass-effect paint enhanced by a beauty line by applying a 24kt gold leaf on the sides of the car. The bumpers and moldings, originally chromed, are also of the same gold.Inside, the door panels and seats are completely covered in Alcantara. As well as the imperial, on which a portion of the famous fresco by Pietro da Cortona was reproduced, which is located in the main floor hall of Palazzo Barberini in Rome.Inside, the door panels and seats are completely covered in Alcantara.
