Abarth Week: Sports

Do you remember all of them? Those who have always followed us know that here in the Garage we eat bread and Abarth. Yes, because we’ve customized so many of them, and we’ll keep doing it as long as you ask. Let’s start immediately aggressive with the 4 most sporty customizations we have made over the years.Do you remember the 500 Abarth in collaboration with ROSSOCORSA?Complete painting in Tristrato Fire Red and Matt Silver Grey with beauty line. Rossocorsa logos under the transparent lens and the iconic Borrani spoked wheels. Foglizzo and Alcantara Rossa black leather interior with contrasting stitching. “What else?” someone would say.
What about the 500 Abarth Robin? This is a great example of Custom on an Abarth basis. Full tailor made. Here we have created an ad hoc painting in oleographic metallic grey (we see you googling). Carbon fibre details here and there. The brake calipers have the double origins of the customer with our tricolor and Stars and Stripes. Custom interior in Alcantara “Robin-Hood”, that’s why the name. We’re simple people.
595 Carbon CompetitionA triumph of carbon for this one-off in which we enriched the bodywork with carbon fibre details, but the most interesting work was done inside. Original Abarth and Alcantara leather door panels, as well as seats, completely re-lined in leather and carbon details. Did we say “carbon” yet?
595 Gradient CompetitionNow let’s tell you a story.
The story of a father and his son who set out from Munich to Milan on their Abarth. They arrive at Garage Italia and give us the car. The Blue Lapo patent leather livery gradient gradient shaded in a custom-made silver-grey. Brake calipers painted in coordinated and same treatment for the dashboard, also shaded in the two colri. Complete customization of the interior in two-tone Alcantara with contrasting stitching.
To make sure we didn’t miss anything we turned it into a two-seater by eliminating the rear seats and installing a Sparco rollbar completely covered in the same Alcantara as the seats, with contrast stitching. The end of the story? A couple of weeks later, father and son return to Garage and hit the road back to Munich in their ‘new’ two-seater Abarth.
