Abarth Week: The Creative

And let’s close this trip to the re-discovery of the most beautiful Abarth made by Garage with the most extreme customizations. Are you ready? You must remember the 500 Abarth Tiger. The bodywork has five layers of clearcoat, used to give it great shine, while orange alternating with horizontal black streaks provides three different shades. Here too, a painstaking job of masking the car during the painting process that we don’t even tell you.
The same colours can be found on the Alcantara coated dashboard and lacquered in the lower part, with denim details to reinforce the parts most subject to wear. The steering wheel is yes the standard one, but the lower race has an orange and black insert, crown is in black Alcantara and contrast stitching. The seats are upholstered in two-tone leather. On the headrest could not miss an embroidery that reproduces the mask of the Tiger Man, popular Japanese manga and anime that has become a cult here since the 80s. The same black Alcantara covers almost all the central tunnel, the gear shift cap is in denim. The same denim also covers the door panels, with Alcantara outer edge and leather armrests. Note how the interior of the door has the same orange-black pattern on the metal part.
This car was also the protagonist of an adventure with a happy ending, stolen and found in a few hours. On the other hand, it is not the best car to go unnoticed.
The Portuguese
Here our client arrived from Lisbon with a clear idea for the interior of his Abarth…He wanted a unique car with a quid outside the traditional canons. During the visit to our materioteca he was able to touch exotic materials, fabrics and leathers by hand, opting for genuine ostrich leather inserts which was then treated ad hoc and dyed. First grain leather and Alcantara complete the upholstery of the interior, for a result… you tell us!
La 595 RomaDuring the shooting of the inevitable Christmas movie, Christian De Sica comes to visit us in the Garage. He had just bought a 595 Competizione and wanted to personalize it, inspired by his beloved Rome. A quick tour of the Materioteca and very clear ideas from the start. Here we focused on the exteriors, creating a design that reproduced exactly the streets of the Capital and the main places of interest, with a two layer relief film of great impact. “Very delicate”, to put it in its own way.
We close in beauty with the custom car for a great friend of Garage Italia. We nicknamed it Eternal ChildLike a child who starts painting a white sheet of paper and then suddenly stops, leaving the work in half. Great job of upholstery for the interior, with leather seats and Foglizzo leather door panels.
